Admission and Payment Policies

1. Admission Fee:

Students intending to enroll in ACCA and CMA (USA) programs are required to pay an admission fee as follows:

• ₹ 3000 + GST for CMA (USA)
• ₹ 7500 + GST for ACCA PRIME
• ₹ 5000 for the LEVEL scheme upon admission

This fee, serving as confirmation of enrollment, is non-refundable. For the CA Foundation program, the admission fee is ₹ 5000, which is refundable only if the student fails. Upon passing the foundation exam, a fee discount of ₹ 5000 from the tuition fee will be granted if the student opts for Inter group tuition at Elance.

2.Payment Schemes:

Students have the option to choose from two payment schemes:

• One-Time Settlement: Pay the entire tuition fee in a single installment.
• Instalments: Opt for a payment plan with scheduled installments, as outlined during admission.

Please note that installment schemes are exclusively managed through an external entity, GrayQuest, as Elance only accommodates a one-time settlement scheme.

3. External Loan Association Policy:

Elance Education has an association with GrayQuest to facilitate student loans for its enrolled students. However, students must understand the following points:

• The approval of your loan application with GrayQuest is subject to the creditworthiness, including the CIBIL score, of the student or parent applying for the loan.
• There is a possibility that your loan application may be rejected, or the approval may be for an amount less than the requested sum, depending on the assessment by GrayQuest.
• Elance, as an educational institution, will not be held responsible for any rejection of your loan application or for the approval of an amount less than requested. The loan approval process is solely at the discretion of GrayQuest.
• It is advisable to contact GrayQuest directly for any concerns or queries regarding your loan application status, approval amount, or rejection reasons.
• Any repayment-related issues with the approved loan will be between the student (or the parent, as applicable) and GrayQuest. Elance Education cannot take any role in mediating or influencing matters related to loan repayments, as it is a third-party initiative.
• If the loan is not processed, students can opt for the Auto debit option. For the refund, if the batch has commenced, students may communicate with their respective batch coordinator. Upon receiving approval from the center manager, the refund process will be initiated. If the batch has not commenced, students can communicate the same with the Admission Officer. Upon approval from the Admission Department Manager, the refund process will be initiated. Please note that if it’s a one-time settlement, the refund will be processed after 1 week from the approval. If it’s EMI or Auto debit, it depends on the approval process from the External Service Provider (GrayQuest). Once approved by the external service provider, the refund will be processed within 7 days.

4. Tuition Fee Break-Up and Scheme:

Tuition fees and scheme details are provided in the Annexure.

5. Additional Fee at Elance:

Exam fee, registration fee, subscription fee, exemption fee,study material fee etc and any other related fee payable to the Board. The tuition fee covers only the cost associated with the online/offline training that students receive, ensuring transparency in the breakdown of fees at Elance.

6. Payment Scheme Selection:

Please select one of the following options to indicate your chosen payment scheme for tuition fees:

• One-Time Settlement
• Instalments

7. Tuition Fee Payment:

If students do not opt for the One-time settlement, they need to opt for the EMI or Auto debit options. Any Default in Payment will lead to the removal of access from respective batches

8. Non-Repayment Policy:

In cases of withdrawal or dismissal, a refund will be issued, A Paperwise fee per session attended including any sessions which were given as part of the full course will be deducted along with a cancellation charge of ₹20000/-. we will be deducting;

• Paperwise fee per session attended whether fresh or resit.
• Fees for skill-based training classes attended which were given only to those who are taking all papers in Elance.
• Cancellation Charges of Rs 20000/- towards administrative expenses.

Please note that the Admission fee remains non-refundable, and for ACCA, after 12 months from the commencement of classes, and for CMA, after 3 months, there will be no refund.

ACADEMIC POLICIES

1. Batch Allocation:

Elance utilizes an automated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for batch allocation within its institution. Students have the option to request their desired batch and faculty through the ERP system, specifically for ACCA Skill and P Level courses. However, the allocation of batches is contingent upon seat availability in the requested batch. It is important to note that Elance will handle batch allocations for CMA, CA, and ACCA K Level courses.

2. Branch Change:

The procedure for branch changes necessitates formal approval through a specialized application process, which entails a meticulous evaluation of institutional prerequisites. Students aspiring for a branch change are required to submit a written application to the Center Head. Approval for such requests is contingent upon the availability of vacant seats within the desired branch and a comprehensive assessment of the student’s academic progression within the respective batches of the requested branch.

3. Scheme Change:

To uphold the integrity of academic planning, Elance maintains a strict policy prohibiting scheme changes after 6 months for ACCA and 3 months for CMA. Additionally, a processing fee will be levied for any scheme changes.

4. Paper Selection at Skill & Professional Level (ACCA):

Students are afforded the flexibility to choose or prioritise papers for their study at the Skill & Professional level. To register for a course, students can reach out to the Student Relationship Officer or utilise the Student Application directly for a seamless paper selection process. It is imperative to finalise the paper selection at least 10 days before the scheduled start date of classes to facilitate prompt processing.

5. Paper Change/Session Break:

Once a paper is selected, students are not permitted to change it to another, ensuring consistency and commitment to the chosen academic path. Additionally, if a student fails to attend classes continuously for 6 months and subsequently rejoins, they will be subject to the new fee structure applicable at that time.

6. Course Delivery Model Selection:

Students are granted the flexibility to opt for online delivery for their next paper, irrespective of the current session’s mode (online or offline). However, once a session commences, altering the course model is not permissible It’s noteworthy that online students have the option to switch to offline sessions only with additional payment as per the fee structure. The Institute reserves the right to shift classes from offline to online mode as necessary due to circumstances such as heavy rainfall, flash flooding, a surge in COVID-19 cases, lockdown measures, changes in faculty schedules, or similar unforeseen events.

7. Entry to Skill Level (ACCA):

Students who are not exempted from the Knowledge Level are not allowed to enroll in Skill Level papers until they have satisfactorily completed three papers in the Knowledge Level.

8. Exemptions as per Exam Board (ACCA):

Students have the opportunity to obtain exemptions in papers by meeting the criteria specified by the examination board. For comprehensive information regarding exemptions, you may visit the exam board’s website or contact the coordinators for additional assistance.

9. Attendance:

In adherence to institutional standards, students are solely responsible for class attendance. Elance absolves itself from any obligation to separately cover missed material and sessions, emphasizing student accountability in line with institutional expectations. It is imperative to note that a minimum of 90% class attendance is compulsory, including mentor sessions and mock exams, as they are integral components of the class experience

10. Academic Doubt Clearance:

In Alignment with institutional norms, students bear the responsibility of promptly and timely addressing and clarifying doubts. Doubts can be resolved during classroom sessions, online sessions, through personal interactions with faculty/mentors, or via the designated WhatsApp group. It is imperative for students to take ownership of their queries and actively follow up to ensure prompt resolution.

11. Academic Communication:

To maintain streamlined communication, Elance utilises a batch-wise WhatsApp community for parents students and parents exclusively. It is the responsibility of students and parents to actively participate in and follow all instructions and directions communicated within these groups. Any failure to read or participate in any communication within the group is solely the responsibility of students and parents. Elance absolves itself from any responsibility for the effects resulting from such oversights, emphasizing the importance of active participation and adherence to communicated guidelines.

12. Reenrolling for a Paper:

Reenrolling for a Paper at Elance is available to students who encounter examination challenges or lack confidence. This initiative serves as a supportive avenue for continuous learning and improvement, adhering to specific criteria established by the institution.

• Paper-wise Student: For paper-wise students, re-enrolment is only allowed for online sessions and requires payment of 50% of the actual fee to proceed with the chosen paper.
• Level-wise Student: Students enrolled in the level-wise category can freely reenroll in online sessions. No offline re-enrollment is allowed
• Prime Student: Prime students enjoy the privilege of free re-enrolment, whether opting for online or offline sessions. Offline free re-enrolment is only allowed once per paper if the student is having minimum 90% attendance, all mentor sessions are attended and, all mock exams. Also, there will be no specific batch choice Re-enrolment benefits are applicable only once per paper; thereafter, students are required to pay the full amount under the paper-wise scheme. Additionally, once a paper is selected for re-enrolment, it cannot be changed to any other paper.

13. Teaching Language:

All classroom sessions will be in a mix of English and vernacular language and academic materials, and internal communication within the institution will be conducted with priority in the English language. Students are required to strictly adhere to this linguistic requirement. It is the sole responsibility of each student to enhance their English communication skills adequately to effectively participate in and comprehend the academic sessions.

14. Method of Teaching:

As a professional course provider, Elance emphasizes the student’s responsibility for in-depth research and a proactive reading mentality to enhance skills. Faculties and mentors serve as facilitators, maintaining the institution’s commitment to fostering self-driven learning practices.

15. Session Recordings:

Elance retains the discretion to provide or withhold recordings of certain or all sessions, and it is not a guaranteed right for students to receive them. Any recordings made available to students will be accessible online and limited to a specific timeframe, as determined by Elance.

16. Student Registration with Board:

ACCA, CA, and CMA Students need to complete the registration process with the respective bodies. For graduate students with exemptions in knowledge level papers, it is imperative to complete their registration with the board at least two weeks before the exam registration for ACCA. In case any assistance is needed, students can contact the Student Relationship Officer for support. Timely registration with the board is the sole responsibility of the student to ensure a smooth process and adherence to examination timelines.

Additional Policies for CA students

1. No record backup of classes will be available to Online & Offline students without payment. Offline to online conversion is not possible.
2. Online mode students can convert into Offline classes with additional payment.
3. No refund is available for any amount paid unless specifically mentioned that it is a refundable deposit.
4. Only weekly class schedules will be announced to students.
5. Faculties for respective subjects can be changed at the discretion of the institute (even after appearing in the poster under emergencies).

CA Study Camp:

1. The last two hours of every day are for studying that day’s pending topics.
2. The exam of the studied chapters will be conducted between 8 am and 9 am or 9 pm and 10 pm without affecting study time.
3. For online students, there will be online Q&A sessions.
4. Students are supposed to update the status of the sessions through WhatsApp.
5. Study schedules will be divided into plots for a week. The target provided in the plot should be completed within that plot.
6. Topics studied within a plot should be revised at the end of each plot.
7. If there’s a need to change schedules, students must communicate with mentors beforehand and must not change without the mentors' permission.
8. Students must rewrite the answers after receiving the evaluated papers and identify their mistakes.

Examination Policy

1. Exam Application Process: Students have the option to enroll directly for examinations through the board website or the Student Relationship Officer. Enrollment can be completed by paying the examination fee directly or via the Student Relationship Officer (the examination fee is not included in the tuition fee and must be paid separately).
2. Exam Preparation: Elance conducts exam preparation sessions to assist students. It is the student’s responsibility to attend these sessions, clear any doubts, and actively engage in preparation. Elance will not reinitiate sessions in case of absenteeism, emphasizing individual accountability in exam readiness.
3. Communications from Exam Board: As login and password details belong to individual students, Elance cannot access their exam accounts. Students are responsible for continuous monitoring of their exam accounts for any communication from the exam board, including changes in schedule or location, and are accountable for following these updates.
4. Passing in Exam: Elance does not provide assurance of student success in exams. Exam results are solely based on the individual effort exerted by students. Elance acts as a facilitator in the training and exam process but does not guarantee the outcomes. Student commitment and dedication play a crucial role in achieving success in examinations.

Code of Conduct

1. Respectful Behavior:
   • Foster an inclusive campus by demonstrating respect towards peers, faculty, and staff.
   • Uphold an environment where diversity is valued, and individuals feel acknowledged and respected.
2. Punctuality and Attendance:
   • Prioritize commitment to learning by attending classes and activities promptly.
   • Communicate any unavoidable absences in advance to the respective batch coordinators, acknowledging the importance of a dedicated and engaged learning environment.
3. Responsible Use of Facilities:
   • Contribute to the maintenance of campus facilities by respecting property and adhering to usage guidelines.
   • Report any observed damage or issues promptly to maintain a conducive learning environment.
   • The student shall bear the financial responsibility for any damage caused to facilities, covering the costs incurred for replacement or repair.
4. Professional Demeanor:
   • Present oneself professionally in both appearance and conduct, reflecting a commitment to academic and professional standards.
   • Recognize the importance of professional behaviors as a precursor to success in future endeavors.
5. Effective Communication:
   • Students are prohibited from using unprofessional language or any language that is harassing or affects the integrity of another person.
   • Utilize designated communication channels for official correspondence, ensuring clarity and efficiency.
   • Participate in constructive and open communication, fostering a collaborative and communicative community.
6. Safety Compliance:
   • Students are unequivocally prohibited from engaging in any activity that may compromise the safety or security of themselves and others on campus.
   • Act responsibly in emergency situations, contributing to a secure and prepared campus community.
7. Noise Management:
   • Contribute to a focused and conducive learning environment by minimizing noise in shared spaces.
   • Recognize the impact of noise on the learning experience and take steps to maintain a respectful atmosphere.
8. Technology Etiquette:
   • Demonstrate responsible use of electronic devices, respecting guidelines and ensuring minimal disruption in academic settings.
   • Use technology as a tool for learning, balancing its benefits with consideration for the impact on others.
9. Alcohol and Substance Policies:
   • Entry to campus under the influence of alcohol or other substances is strictly prohibited.
   • Abide by institutional policies regarding alcohol and substance use, understanding the potential impact on individual well-being and community harmony.
10. No Smoking Policy:
    • Smoking is strictly prohibited on campus premises. Adhere to the no-smoking policy to create a healthy and comfortable environment for all members of the campus community.
11. Community Engagement:
    • Actively participate in community events and initiatives, contributing positively to the overall campus community.
    • Demonstrate a sense of shared responsibility for the well-being and vibrancy of the campus environment.
12. Political Activities:
    • Political activities are not allowed on campus to maintain a neutral and focused learning environment.
    • Refrain from engaging in any form of political campaigning or advocacy within the institution.
13. Illegal Items:
    • The campus strictly prohibits the possession of illegal items. Any individual found carrying such items will be subject to disciplinary action to ensure the safety and well-being of the entire campus community.

Other

1. Placement at Elance:

   Elance is committed to providing placement assistance and support in developing students’ job readiness and enhancing their skills. Elance will be offering placement assistance and various platform support related to placements, as well as help in preparing for interviews and fostering skill development to enhance students’ employability.

2. Technical Requirement:

   Students are responsible for meeting any personal technical requirements, including smartphones or other devices, to access study materials, sessions, or applications. Additionally, any network requirements for attending classes fall under the student’s responsibility. Students must ensure the availability of these resources to ensure an uninterrupted learning process at Elance.
